Miscreants abducted a young man at gun point named Rubel (23) from Paner Chara Dhala in the Eidgorh-Eidgah road under Ramu Thana at 9pm on 14th November 2017.About 1 hour later they demanded five lakh Taka ransom.A 10 hours long operation was conducted in deep forest by the police.As a result,the victim has been released from terrorist’s clutch.
The victim was identified as Rubel (23), Son of Abul Hossain at Tothar Bill under Eidghor Union.
Locals said, Mizanur Rahman OC (Investigation) of Ramu Thana rushed to the spot at 12am.According to directives from Liakat Ali, Officer-in-Charge of Ramu Thana, They conducted an organised operation against those cruel perpetrators in the deep forest along with more than five hundred local inhabitant.in the face of intensified searching abductors have fled from the scene by leaving the victim in Vaditola village.Police has taken him to the Ramu thana.SI Sana Ullah,SI Mokibul and ASI Morshed have taken part in this deadly operation.
According to locals, the terrorists had been arrested by the police and sent to the jail but some them are released on bail.after coming to the village they have started abduction again.
