Ahmed Saikat :

It is to be informed to all of the readers with enthusiasm and fervor that on this very day back in 1949 the most prestigious man of Cox’s bazaar in the field of contemporary literature of Bangladesh, the son of Cox’s bazaar Muhammmad Nurul Huda was born in Eidgah a place not very far from the town. The writer himself is also from this place and has had great love and respect for this man of outstanding talent. The reader will be able to know the literary works of this great son of Cox’s bazaar online. Rather today I will be sharing some radical ideas he spread among the lovers of Cox’s bazaar. He introduced the concept of “Darianagar poetry fair” and urged the concerned authority to change Cox’s bazaar the name to ‘darianagar’ (the city of ocean) . He indeed wants to bring the birthplace out of the colonial past of the British. He is a professor of English language and literature and was educated Hawaii. Later on he became active in serving many great institutes. I personally met him for the first back in 2010 when I was a school student in Eidgah KG School.

My fascination for literature, poetry, translation, philosophy everything is shaped by greats like this man and Prof. Mustaque ahmed whom I initially got as my intellectual heroes. Poet Huda arranged Darianagar poetry fair back in 2011, 2012 and perhaps he continued it for some years. In fact, since 2013 I have never met him and don’t know anything about his works and life. I can hardly remember back in 2013 I met him in his residence of Dhaka in shantibag. Today I recall him once again through this writing. To be honest he is a man of great personality and wisdom. My perspective from a neural stand will be to uphold the greatness of people like poet huda who love to think and work for the progress our lovely hometown Cox’s bazaar. With great love and respect once again I wish a great life of Poet Muhammad Nurul huda. Love you Poet Huda, May Allah provide you with a longer life.
