State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam said”the repatriation process of Rohingyas is delayed because the condition of Rakhain state is perilous, those who have been persecuted and took shelter inside Bangladesh, we cannot push back them in a volatile situation. So we are waiting to ensure right circumstances over there. He told the reporters on Monday at Cox’s Bazar’s Uttar Modurchara Rohingya camp.

United Nations Refugee Agency UNHCR has been involved in this pact for Repatriation of Rohingya. In co-ordination with international agencies, Rohingyas will be sent back home, so that they can live there safely.Rushing into the reaptriation process, There is a possibilty to deteriorate the situation.He added.

State Minister Shahriar Alam was accompanied with 32-members delegation of European Union (EU) to visit Rohingya camps at noon on 12th February, 2018.Meanwhile the delegation spoke with the oppressed Rohingyas.

The EU delegation chief Jean Lambert said “The situation in Myanmar is alarming”the European Union and international community believs that Myanmar government will create environment for the safe return of Rohingyas. The present situation in Myanmar is not favorable to Rohingyas at any standard. The Rohingyas fled to Bangladesh by the brutality of Myanmar army.

The delegation was included James Nicholson, Richard Corbett, Wazid Khan, Sajjad Karim, Mark Tarabela and others.
