Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim MP said” there is no reason to fear of diphtheria in Rohingya camps. The situation is under control.Already 69 thousand Rohingyas have been brought under Diphtheria vaccination program.it will be continued.

The minister made this comment while visiting the medical camps at Balukhali in Ukhiaia of Cox’s Bazar on Sunday (Sunday) evening. District Awami League President Advocate Sirajul Mustafa, Director of Chittagong Health Division M Mujibul Haque, Civil Surgeon Dr Abdus Salam and senior officials were present in the meeting on the occasion.

Later,A view-exchange meeting was held with officials of the District Health Department in the auditorium of Hilltop Circuit house at night to develop the quality of health services. Health Minister addressed on the occasion as a chief guest. Member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Information, Saimum Sarwar Kamal MP, Deputy Commissioner Md. Ali Hossain spoke at the meeting.Health and concerned officials were present among others.
